The sixth form at Trinity Academy opened in September 2020. Teaching at A-level builds on the experience students have received in the lower school, and the subjects offered facilitate progression onto the very best universities.
The subjects offered in the sixth form are:
- English Literature
- Government and Politics
- Mathematics and Further Mathematics
- Physical Education
- Religious Studies
Students in the sixth form are placed onto a four or three A-level pathway. Those who study four A-levels are expected to have attained Grade 7+ in all the subjects they wish to study. Those students who are placed on a three A-level pathway will be enrolled onto the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), which develops the key skills of independent research and study. The EPQ is the equivalent to half an A-level; universities value this qualification, often reducing entry requirements by one grade for those that have the EPQ.
